Introduction

Founded in 1918, The School of Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, previously known as Railway Management Department is one of the earliest business schools in China. It originated from Nan Yang Business Institute which was founded by Mr. Sheng Xuanhuai with the permission of the government of Qing Dynasty in 1903. In 1918, Railway Management Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was established. In 1979, Industrial Management Engineering Department was created to rebuild management education. In 1984, The School of Management was reestablished with the approval from the Ministry of Education. In 1996, Aetna International Inc. entered into cooperation with SJTU to develop the school of management. In 2000, the School of Management was officially named as Antai School of Management. In 2006, ASOM Officially renamed as Antai College of Economics and Management.

MBA program at Antai College of Economics & Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University is the program of Master of Business Administration and the diploma, which are recognized by Chinese Education Ministry and Degree Office of State Council. ACEM has offered MBA education since 1994 and has enrolled students for 13 years, with total number of 4000.

ACEM has different MBA programs. In terms of teaching time, there are full-time MBA and part-time MBA; in terms of orientation, there are International MBA, MBA in Management of Technology, Financial MBA; in terms of teaching place, the college offers MBA courses in Shanghai, Shenzhen. MBA courses consist of various specialties including: business startup and investment, company accounting and finance, logistics and supply chain, international business and enterprise management, marketing and strategy, enterprise business intelligence and IT application integration and etc.

IMBA program is a 2 years full-time program, including 1.5 years full-time study and half year for dissertation. General Chinese MBA program has both full-time (2 years) and part-time (2.5 years). For IMBA program, all courses are taught in English. For Chinese MBA program, most of the courses are taught in Chinese.

Admission Requirements

1) A bachelor degree or its equivalent;
2) For IMBA degree applicants, a TOEFL of 580 (paper based) or 250 (computer based) or 85 (internet based), or IELTS 6.5 is required. For General Chinese MBA applicants, they should pass HSK level 8.
3) For international students, GMAT (Learn more about GMAT) is required;
3) Full time work experience is a must.
