Art and Design
It's a matter of fact that more and more foreign students study in China not only to study Chinese language but also look for other degree majors. One of the most popular majors, other than business major, that foreign students looking for is art and design related major.
China has the most renowned art academies in the world which offer art and design majors to foreign students. One of its best is the Central Academy in Fine Arts (CAFA) which offers over 10 bachelor degree majors taught in Chinese which are related to design.

Chinese language requirement:
The language requirements for Chinese taught business major provided by Chinese universities are HSK 6 or above offered to international students.
The language requirements for art and design related majors are HSK 3 to 4. It will be easier for foreign student to attain after the student has finished the one-year foundation course provided by the university.

International Foundation Course for Bachelor Degree Study of CAFA
This is a one-year foundation course for foreign students who wish to pursuit their study in design or art-related subjects. Teaching contents are adumbration, sketch, color, design, specialty Chinese courses and strengthen the examination lessons.
This is the only art foundation courses offered to foreign students who wish to pursuit further in design related degrees but without a prior valid art training.
