For foreign students who have never learned Chinese before, they will be assigned into New Student Class in the first semester, where they will mainly focus on studying the Chinese language in order to build up the language foundation.

After studying in the New Student Class, student with HSK level 3 or above can register to regular class of Chinese students in the appropriate grade or stay in the language course in international department. At NSFZ, we provide daily tutoring sections to students who study in regular class to improve his Chinese.

For grade 11 and 12 students who want to apply to university in China, they can study in the College Preparation Class. This course will prepare students for all sections tested on the HSK test. Daily exercises cover all the vocabularies and grammars required by HSK test. Sample tests are constantly held to improve students’ performance on HSK test. Students can take the exam in Nanjing - one of the Chinese cities where HSK test is held.

PE and Health

For over 20 years, NSFZ provides students with 4 PE lessons per week. This consolidate their healthy grow and lifelong development. Jiangning Campus will make use of the advantages brought by the boarding system, wonderful sports venues and facilities, and the foundation of 4 PE lessons per week to establish sports club activities. Students can choose among them freely according to their preference to enhance the standard for particular kinds of sports and strengthen their bodies.
